The tours are organised by Laurie Shearer, member of the Travel Brokers, division of Helloworld (NZ) Limited, 66 Wyndham Street, Auckland trading as Women’s Boutique Tours.
All tours are subject to Women’s Boutique Tour’s Terms and Conditions, The Travel Brokers Terms of Service and any specific tour Terms and Conditions which together form the contract between Women’s Boutique Tours and the tour member/you. Please take the time to read and understand these Terms and Conditions carefully as they set out our respective legal rights and obligations when you book a tour with us. You accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions when you book a tour with Women’s Boutique Tours formerly known as Laurie Shearer, travel broker trading as Merivale Travel. Your sending the Booking Form to us is treated as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Women’s Boutique Tours are for female travellers only. Should you have a female friend or female family member wanting to join the tour, they are more than welcome to do so subject to the tour capacity.
All flights (domestic and international in all countries including New Zealand), domestic transfers in New Zealand, domestic transfers in the touring country or countries and taxes are not included in the tour price unless specified on the specific tour Terms and Conditions.
Women’s Boutique Tours is able to book individual and group airfares and transfers for the tour member subject to the group number and the tour members' wishes and requirements.
The tour member’s tickets in use by the airline carrier shall constitute the sole contract between the carrier and the tour member using these tickets.
Travel insurance (comprehensive only) is not included in the tour price but is mandatory to secure your place on any tour. Women’s Boutique Tours requires tour members to have comprehensive travel insurance for the duration of the tour to cover unforeseen circumstances which may arise including but not limited to cancellation fees, loss of luggage, medical treatment on tour and early return following the death of a friend or relative. Women’s Boutique Tours requires tour members to provide a copy of their travel insurance before the tour's departure date. If you do not provide your travel insurance confirmation, you will not be able to go on the tour.
Meals not specified in the tour itinerary, minibar, tips for tour drivers, optional activities/tours and any pre and post tour accommodation not specified in the itinerary are not included in the tour price. Please ensure that you travel with adequate funds to pay for these expenses.
All tours are subject to a minimum number of tour members. Where sufficient numbers have not been reached by the final tour registration date, Women’s Boutique Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour. Each tour will be subject to a deposit, final payment and cancellation fees which are outlined in the specific tour's Terms and Conditions. Should any tour not proceed due to the minimum number of tour members not being reached you will be refunded 100% of the tour deposit and final payment if that has also been paid.
Tours are premised on a shared twin basis. For clarity, you will share a room with one other person from the tour. A single supplement may be available for the specific tour should you desire your own room. Please enquire with Women's Boutique Tours. Please advise Women's Boutique Tours if there is a person registered on the tour that you wish to share with. Women’s Boutique Tours will do their best to match like-minded people together. If a tour member at any time during the tour considers their rooming partner unsuitable, Women’s Boutique Tours will, subject to availability and at the additional cost of the tour member requesting the change, arrange single accommodation.
Any tour member over 75 years requires a certificate from their doctor stating that they are fit to travel. Women’s Boutique Tours will only accept tour members with physical limitations if they do not inhibit other tour members or have their own caregiver travelling with them. Final acceptance is subject to the approval of Women’s Boutique Tours and their medical advisors.
Any special passenger requirements must be notified to Women’s Boutique Tours at the time of booking. No tour member will be permitted to embark or continue the tour while their physical or mental condition, in the opinion of Women’s Boutique Tours is such to render them incapable of caring for themselves, or whereby they become objectionable to other passengers, or they become a hazard to themselves or other passengers. Women’s Boutique Tours will not be responsible for expenses resulting in such tour member being precluded from completing the tour for any such reason.
Women’s Boutique Tours is not responsible for any failure on the part of our service providers such as tour operators, hotels, or airlines. Women’s Boutique Tours can give no guarantee as to the exact arrival and departure time for airlines, transport carriers, and operators used by Women’s Boutique Tours on the tour. Women’s Boutique Tours will not be liable for failure to make connections with any other services and/or missed tour inclusions.
In the event of Force Majeure (if your travel arrangements cannot proceed due to a natural disaster such as flood, hurricane, fire, cyclone, or earthquake, or war or civil strife, acts of terrorism, industrial disturbance, strike, lock-out, epidemic, pandemic, failure or delays of scheduled transportation, or any law, order, decree, rule or regulation of any government authority (including quarantine requirements or government travel advisories), or for any other reason beyond our control), then the travel arrangements cannot proceed. In these circumstances, Women’s Boutique Tours may elect to reschedule your travel arrangements (if such is possible at the sole discretion of Women's Boutique Tours); or cancel your travel arrangements, in which case our contract with you is at an end. If we need to cancel your travel arrangements due to Force Majeure before travel, neither of us will have any claim for damages against the other. However, we will refund payments made by you less unrecoverable third-party costs and less fair compensation for work undertaken by us up until the time of termination and in connection with the processing of any refund. If we need to cancel your travel arrangements due to Force Majeure after your tour has commenced, we will provide you with a refund of recoverable third-party costs only. If we organise any alternative travel arrangements for you due to Force Majeure, you are responsible for the payment of these arrangements.
Women’s Boutique Tours reserves the right to alter or change the accommodation, carrier, transport or tour operator at any time for any reason whatsoever including but not limited to, road, weather or traffic conditions, non-performance of suppliers, operational conditions and requirements. All additional expenses incurred as a result of any delays, cancellations or alterations will be the sole responsibility of the tour member.
Women’s Boutique Tours reserves the right to vary the price advertised or printed to cover any significant increase in airfare, fuel price, exchange rate, or other tour related tariff or costs. Tour members are reminded that this is a condition of travel.
Women’s Boutique Tours shall not be liable for any loss, accident, delay, damage, personal injury or death occasioned to any tour member or property as a result of failure or negligence of any third-party suppliers or because of any inclusion or action undertaken during the tour whatsoever or howsoever the same may be caused whether because of negligence or otherwise by a tour member.
Women’s Boutique Tours reserves the right to take photographs, video, and other images during the tour including of you, and to use these images for promotional purposes during the tour and afterwards. By booking a tour with us, you consent to our use of these images of you taken during the tour for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose. Such images will comply with rules which generally apply to images displayed in public media.
A copy of your passport is required to be provided on payment of the tour deposit. Please note that passports must be valid for six months prior to return to your home country.
It is your sole responsibility to obtain any visa, inoculations and preventative medicines or permit that may be required upon entry into the touring country or countries and for the duration of the tour and reentry into New Zealand or your origin country. This cost is not included in the price of the tour.
