Are flights included in the tour price?

No, all tours are exclusive of flights. The reason for this is that you are then free to continue your journey after the tour if that is your wish or alternatively meet the tour group at the beginning of the tour if you have travel plans prior. From time to time, when required for transport during the tour, we will include internal airfares in certain destinations which will be specified in the tour price. We are able to organsie all of your flights for the tour for you so please request a quote from Women's Boutique Tours. Alternatively, you are welcome to book your own flights.

Do all the tours depart from New Zealand, or can I join the tour if I am from or in another country?

The tours will all commence from the country that we are visiting (as flights are not included in the tour price) so you can definitely join the tour group if you are from or in another country. Laurie Shearer of Women's Boutique Tours will be departing from New Zealand and will welcome any tour member to join her on her flights.

Do you sell travel insurance?

Yes, we do. Comprehensive travel insurance is required for all of our tours. Please ask Women’s Boutique Tours to provide you with a travel insurance quote.

What is the general age of the women on your tours?

Our tours are aimed at women between 50 and 80 years of age but there is no age restriction. Provided that you are physically capable of doing the tour, women of all ages are welcome!

Do you have to be of a particular fitness?

All tours will require you to be able to walk for a reasonable period, walk up and down stairs and walk on uneven surfaces. Some tours that include hiking and biking will require a certain level of fitness for you to be able to undertake the tour and enjoy it. This information will be included in the specific tour itinerary.

Can a female friend or family member join me on the tour?

Subject to the maximum tour number having not been met, the answer is YES. We would love for them to join us.

What happens if the minimum number of travellers is not reached for the tour?

If we have advised you that the tour will not be proceeding due to the minimum tour number having not been reached, we will refund you 100% of your tour deposit and the balance of the tour price if that has also been paid.

I am travelling alone. Do I have to pay for a single supplement?

No, you do not. Our tour price is premised on a twin share basis which means sharing a room with another woman on the tour. We will do our best to match similar ladies. If you wish to have your own room, a single supplement will be on offer on most of our tours. Most of our tour members will also be travelling solo.
